The law firm of Katz, Barron, Squitero, Faust, Friedberg, English & Allen, P.A. has announced that Charles J. Duffy III has joined the firm as a partner.

Duffy is a resident in the firm’s Fort Lauderdale office, and focuses his practice on private equity, mergers and acquisitions, real estate development, Internet/technology and electronic commerce.  He previously maintained a solo law practice in Fort Lauderdale, and served as general counsel to Kirk Pharmaceuticals, LLC and AndaPharm, LLC, both in Fort Lauderdale, from 2004 to 2010.  He is a member of the Florida Bar and the Pennsylvania Bar.

A 1987 graduate of Duquesne University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Duffy attended the University of Notre Dame’s Summer London Law Program before receiving his Juris Doctor degree with honors from Duquesne University School of Law in 1990.
