Our practice group is an active and knowledgeable force in structuring, negotiating, documenting and closing a wide spectrum of real estate transactions in the South Florida area and nationwide. We represent local and national developers, investors, lenders, borrowers, landlords, tenants, asset managers, broker and other participants in the real estate industry.
Retail development and leasing has been a key practice area since our inception in 1977. We represent shopping center developers, investors and managers, as well as a number of national and regional retail tenants.
Our work in hospitality and with private clubs also distinguishes our real estate practice. We have represented private clubs in the broad scope of issues that commonly confront them, including membership and governance issues, control and exit disputes between developers and equity members, and capital improvement and re-development projects. In the hospitality industry, we have represented investors, operators and lenders in acquisition, development and financing, and in the negotiation of management, licensing and reservation agreements for hotels, resorts and restaurants in various markets.
Our real estate team also works internally with other practice groups to assist in strategy development and implementation in matters having a real estate component, such as analyzing title and transaction issues in litigation and conducting due diligence on target real estate in corporate transactions.
