MIAMI – The law firm of Katz, Barron, Squitero, Faust, Friedberg, English & Allen, P.A. has announced that Aaron M. Cohn, Elizabeth K. Mabry and Elena Otero have joined the firm as associates.
Aaron Cohn is a litigation associate resident in Katz Barron’s Miami office. Before joining the firm, he served as an associate with Holland & Knight’s San Francisco office.
A graduate of the University of California, Berkley with a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics, Cohn received a Masters of Science degree in social psychology from the London School of Economics and a Juris Doctor degree with Honors from the George Washington University School of Law. He has been admitted to practice before all Florida and California state courts, and the 9th Circuit and all district courts in California.
Elizabeth Mabry is resident in the firm’s Fort Lauderdale office and focuses her practice primarily on commercial transactions, contracts, and intellectual property (trademark and licenses). She previously was Assistant General Counsel at a privately held Internet software development company.
A graduate of Palm Beach Atlantic University with a Bachelor of Arts degree, she received a Juris Doctor degree, summa cum laude, from Nova Southeastern University and was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2010. She is a member of the American Bar Association, Broward County Bar Association, Florida Association of Women Lawyers and Craig S. Barnard Inn of Court.
Elena Otero is an associate in Katz Barron’s Real Estate Department. Her practice consists of general real estate transactions, including acquisitions, sales, management, financing and leasing. She previously served as an associate with the law firm of Ritter, Zaretsky, Lieber and Jaime in Miami.
After receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree, she earned her Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, both from the University of Miami. She was admitted to The Florida Bar in 2008. Otero is a member of the American Bar Association, Florida Bar Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section, the Dade County Bar Association, and the Junior League of Miami. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
